On-screen stream alerts (browser source)
Browser-source alerts show a live notification the moment a fan buys a gift. They work with most broadcasting software that supports browser sources, on Twitch, YouTube, or Facebook.
Head to the Stream Alerts section of your Integrations page and customize how your alerts look and sound.
Copy the link into your broadcasting software. In OBS or Streamlabs: open a scene, hit + in the Sources pane, choose "Browser," name it "Throne Alerts," and paste your link into the URL field. Keep the red frame fully visible in your scene. In Twitch Studio: Edit Layout, add a "Browser Source" layer, and paste the link into the Webpage field. In XSplit: Add source, then Webpage, then paste the link.
Send a test alert from the Integrations page before you go live.
Controlling alert volume in OBS: when you add the browser source, tick "Control audio via OBS." In the Audio Mixer, open the settings icon, choose "Advanced Audio Properties," find your Throne source, and set Audio Monitoring to "Monitor Only (mute output)." Adjust the volume and send a test alert. Having volume issues? Switching to "Monitor and Output" has fixed it for some users.
Twitch Alerts (native)
Throne also plugs straight into Twitch's own alert system.
Connect Twitch on the Twitch integration page. Signed up with Twitch? You're already connected.
On Twitch, open your Creator Dashboard, click "Alerts," and select "Get Started." In the Alert Editor, click "Create New Variant."
Scroll to the bottom of the variant options, allow Twitch to connect to Throne, and authorize.
Customize your Throne alerts, grab the browser source URL, and add it to your streaming software. Once it's created, filter the Activity Feed in Stream Manager to show your alerts.
