Quick answer: Surprise Gifts let your community send you something they picked out, not an item you chose on your wishlist. You will not know what it is until it arrives.
What it is
Think of it like a mystery box. Fans choose from gift categories that you set, and the items come from our Gift Store, which includes Partner Merchants and Amazon. You stay in control of the categories, the specific item stays a surprise.
How to turn it on
Go to your settings page, open the "Surprise Gifts" tab, and toggle Surprise Gifts on. From there you pick which gift categories fans are allowed to choose from. Fans only ever see the categories you select.
Good to know
Surprise Gifts are not the same as Secret Gifts. With Secret Gifts, fans buy items you picked for your wishlist, but the item and its value stay hidden from you until it arrives, unless you choose "Reveal" on the order. You can turn on Secret Gift Mode for all your gifts from the Wishlist tab of your settings page.
If you only want gifts you have hand-picked, leave Surprise Gifts off.
