Quick answer: Throne asks you to verify your identity before creators withdraw funds, before creators receive or redeem gift cards, and before new accounts place an order for a gift card.
Verifying for payouts
Before you can withdraw, you may need to verify your identity. It's a security and compliance step that protects your funds before anything leaves the platform.
Verifying for gift cards and digital goods
To receive and redeem gift cards and other digital goods, you'll need to complete identity verification. Fans can still purchase them for you beforehand, but the order sits in "Issue" and can't be redeemed until verification is complete from a country we support. You don't need to verify just to add a gift card to your wishlist, the requirement kicks in at the ordering stage.
If you're a new account buying a gift card, you may also be asked to verify your identity before your order is placed. That's a separate check from the one creators complete to redeem gift cards.
If verification fails
Try again and make sure your details match your ID exactly. If it keeps failing, contact us at [email protected]. In some cases it's tied to account security checks we can't always resolve.
