How to adjust the volume of your browser source alerts?

Step 1: Add the Throne Browser Source

Open OBS, in Sources select the "+" button at the bottom.

Select "Browser".

Select "Create new". Make sure "Make source visible" is checked.

You can choose any name for the Browser Source, we chose Throne.

Go to Throne, select Integrations in the sidebar and go to "Browser Source Alerts".

Press the button "Copy Link". This will automatically copy the link to your clipboard.

Paste the link into the "URL" field.

Scroll down and make sure that "Control audio via OBS" is checked.

Press "OK" in the bottom right corner.

Step 2: Change Audio Monitoring

To be able to hear the alert sound, we have to change the Audio Monitoring.

In "Audio Mixer" find the Browser Source you just added (In our case it is called Throne).

Select the "Settings" icon in the bottom right corner.

In the drop down menu, select "Advanced Audio Properties".

Find the Browser Source you just added. In our case it is called Throne.

Under "Audio Monitoring" select "Monitor Only (mute output)".

Press "Close" in the bottom right corner.

*If you are having issues with your volume for alerts, try switching to "Monitor and Output" as this has worked for some of our users.

Step 3: Adjust the Volume to your liking.

Step 4: Test the Browser Source

Go back to Throne and press the "Test Browser Source Alerts" button.
