We want to be very transparent about our fee structure. The following fees are charged to fans purchasing gifts:
Payment Processing Fees
For non-payout items we charge a 2.9% + 30 Cents processing fee that is leveraged on us by our payment provider.
For payout items, we charge we charge a 3.9% + 30 Cents processing fee.
There is also a 1% additional fee if a currency other than US Dollars is used for checkout. This is another fee that is passed on to our payment provider. This will be shown at checkout along with taxes and shipping.
Service Fees
Partner Store Products
Partner Store products added from our store dashboard have 0% service fees.
Partner Stores are currently only available in:
United States
United Kingdom
Canada
Germany
Netherlands
Italy
Spain
France
Australia
Mexico
But will be expanding to new countries soon! You can browse partner store products by going to your Throne dashboard and clicking "Add Gifts".
Non-Partner Store Products
Depending on your country, there are two ways for you to receive gifts.
1. Throne ships gifts to your address (7% Service Fee)
This is available in certain countries for verified merchants in those countries. See https://throne.com/countries to browse countries where this is available and merchants to find verified stores https://throne.com/merchants
2. Throne pays out the gift amount (direct credit) (8.9% Service Fee)
Whenever a country or store isn't fully supported or verified by Throne, the gift amount will be paid to your balance which you can withdraw to your bank account. These are called "direct credit" items, and will be indicated on your public wishlist with "payout" on the image. Read more about this. Part of this fee is paid to external partners to verify users, connect bank accounts and initiate transfers.
