What happens if there are customs charges or VAT fees?
What happens if there are customs charges or VAT fees?

Per our terms, the content creator is always responsible for any customs, import duties, or other related charges.

These charges can vary from country to country, and it is your responsibility to check with your local customs office to verify whether the country you are having gifts shipped allows the shipment of these gifts to you.

If we receive notification of customs charges or VATs (value-added tax), we will forward these emails to you immediately to the email address we have on file for you. (Value-added taxes are sometimes known as "goods and services taxes" or GST. These can be common in areas like the EU and UK.)

Failure to pay these charges could result in the delivery being denied, and either the item will be held at customs or sent back to the merchant. Unless the merchant refunds the purchase to Throne, we are unable to re-order items that were not delivered due to unpaid customs fees.
